Quick Weight Loss Tips

A slender, fit body is something we all desire. And as spring fast approaches, it's time to get to work on your beach body. These tips and tricks will help you shed those unwanted pounds quickly and be on your way to a slimmer healthier you.

5. Eat 5 or 6 small meals instead of 2-3 large ones during the day. This will help keep your metabolism buring and keep your blood sugar levels under control, preventing insulin rebound.

4. Pack lots of fibrous snacks to take with you throughout the day, fiber not only helps you feel more full, it also aids in digestion of other nutrients.

3. Reduce your salt intake! Salt, (especially the refined table salt) causes you to retain water. Reduce the salt, and reduce the water weight you carry as a result. Be careful though, sodium is an essential mineral and you do not want to deprive yourself of it!

2. Cut portions in half! (related to #5) If you go out to eat, have the server put half of your entree in a to-go bag before they bring the food out, this way, you will not be tempted to eat the entire entree there, which is often 2 or even 3 full meal's worth.

1. Excercise when you can! Even an additional 15 minutes per day of excercise adds up to almost 2 hours a week. Every little bit helps, so take a little extra time before bed, or in the morning, or even on your lunch break and get a little bit of excercise every day.
